The day exhaust was really, really awesome. They have the best hostel Hospitality that I've ever seen in my life. The food was literally good, which was not expecting at the same time. It was reasonable in cost. The property is well maintained, and the staff is very well behaved and very well trained for the hospitality. They have everything available or as and when you need it if you stay here, you'll have the best hostel experience Of your life.

Beautiful property, amazing food, good vibes. Away from proper town amidst lush greenery gave us a wonderful opportunity to do birdwatching also. However dorm rooms can give few more service like towel and a side table for the price that they charge. Restaurant sofas need upholstery renovation very badly. Also please repair your roads.

During my stay at the hotel, I had the chance to dine at the in-house restaurant. Overall, the experience was decent but not particularly memorable.

The ambiance was good, with a cozy atmosphere that made for a nice dining experience. But the service was not attentive, though there were moments of delay during every hours.

As for the food, I ordered the grilled chicken with seasonal vegetables and fries. It took 1 hrs to serve the food on table. Again we order chicken crispy taste was normal but we shock with quantity it was so less and in morning we ordered cheese masala Maggie that was also average with no seasoning
The prices were on the higher side, which is expected for hotel dining, but I felt that the quality didn’t fully justify the cost. Overall, it’s a good option for convenience, but I’d recommend exploring local dining options for a more unique culinary experience.

Stay was beautiful and awesome but we are disappointed with restaurant food quality,service and price.

Booked a cottage with Jacuzzi for 1 night to celebrate my anniversary. Overall stay was good and I will definitely visit again.

Good things - Breathtaking view, well maintained amenities at the property, nice crowd, the property arranges for trekking, and bonding exercises for guests which makes the stay memorable

Improvement -
1.Approach road is terrible - would advise caution if you have back or neck ailments or travelling with a pregnant lady;
2. Service can be improved a lot. While they offer luxury rooms costing 11k per night, the service standard and staff courtesy is still more suited for a budget offering. Hence I won't recommend if you are looking for a luxury stay.
3. Food at the cafe is a hit and a miss. I had terrible Chinese but decent Indian food here. Also, not having a complimentary breakfast buffet is a bummer (you can get breakfast on an a-la-carte basis but options are limited)

Rooms should have bath towels service

Rooms should have proper Ac remotes for the comfort of guests as there was no remotes provided.

Washrooms to be cleaned thrice a day without intimation because 6 peoples uses 1 washroom.

Washroom was clean and hygiene but it should be cleaned thrice a day

This is a beautiful place to stay with your friends and family. You get an awesome lakeview from the rooms and the dining area. There are indoor and outdoor games for leisure giving you a nostalgic feeling. The food is also very good in taste. We would definitely go again.

Visited the place for the weekend on 31st August, 2024 (during monsoon)

The property location is in the middle of lakes, beautiful view (oh my my) Its a one time visit place for sure, do not miss out on this experience, reason why -
1. Enjoy your food with the beautiful view of the lake and lush greenery hills
2. Amazing food they serve and their chai is
3. The interiors so huge that you'll need half day to enjoy every bit

Cons -
- Located towards extremely remote location, one needs to pay 1k for the cab alone.
- The roads that leads to the zostel property is not so friendly (kind of off road drive experience)
- The game zone needs to be maintained on regular basis
- You need to tell them in way advance to clean your bedsheets and pillow covers before check in

They also have kayaking available for Rs 1500 for an hour, highly recommended!

Our stay at Zostel was one of the best experiences we've had. We stayed in a lake view suite, and the view was truly breathtaking. We visited during the monsoon season, which was a unique experience, but I would recommend visiting in the winter for an even better experience. Although we enjoyed our visit, the rain did limit some outdoor activities. Personally, I think a winter visit would offer a more complete experience. Special thanks to Prenana, who was an exceptionally gracious host. She helped us connect with other guests and ensured we had a fantastic time. The roads to the property are in poor condition, so hiring an experienced driver is advisable. Alternatively, the Zostel team offers a pickup and drop-off service to the main market.
