Both of my children have been blessed to attend this wonderful preschool. Not only are the teachers amazing, they truly care to make each day a new opportunity for growth through hands on, play based learning. I love the opportunity to be involved in our children’s day through the co-op. It is a special time we are able to watch our children explore and learn. I cannot say enough about our experience here and how it has helped shape the way our children learn, play, and prepare for their elementary education.

I was so excited to find Northaven Cooperative Preschool that I committed to driving in from Murphy each morning so that my daughter can be in Ms. Julie's Young 2's class! I love the outdoor learning/play space that is so developmentally appropriate and used as much as possible, weather-permitting. The indoor muscle room helps the kids grow their physical strength and confidence and I've definitely noticed that growth in what she attempts at home! The indoor classrooms are full of play-based, seasonally-themed, open-ended activities to help the children experiment, play, question, and interact with each other. The teachers and staff are very welcoming and we are very happy.

Just the best preschool! The teachers are just amazing—they are so good with the kids and care so much about them! The children thrive in this exceptional play-based environment. They develop strong social and emotional skills while also learning to count and create. Co-oping gives you a special window into your child’s world, special time with your child, and also the volunteer time doubles as a parenting class as you watch how the teacher handles different situations. All three of my daughters have been blessed to attend this school and it gave them such a fabulous base for their elementary education.

Our son is currently at Northaven Co-op. I cannot imagine a more loving and beautiful Pre-K school in Dallas. It amazes me to see his growth and love for school and learning. The amount of dedication and devotion that each teacher puts into their classrooms and students is remarkable!! The student to teacher ratio truly allows teachers to facilitate a healthy learning experience where each child can receive individualized attention and find success! I am blown away everyday with this amazing preschool and each one of the teachers that are so dedicated to their students and the families.

Both our kids go to Northaven Co-operative Preschool, and we are SO happy we found this school. It is a play-based, NAEYC-accredited preschool that offers exactly the type of early childhood education we have been looking for. Here, the children are artists, scientists, gardeners, and chefs in a single morning. They learn through all their senses and develop their personalities in such a warm and loving atmosphere. Ms. Vicki and the teachers are phenomenal and put so much love and passion into the education of their students. Our kids are thriving, and seeing how much they have grown is amazing. This school is a gem and we love it with all our hearts!

My son is thriving at Northaven Co-op. The play-based curriculum has helped him develop his imagination, his sense of curiosity, and the desire to experiment and explore. The teachers are great, and the presence of parents in the classroom helps the kids to feel secure and comfortable. Additionally, I am a solo mom, and Northaven is a great, accepting environment for us. I highly recommend this school!

We are lucky we found Northaven Cooperative Preschool. Our son is in his fourth year at Northaven. He (and his parents) are big fans of all the teachers he's had. He has learned a lot from all of them. He is so proud of his school, which has become a big part of him. Our daughter just started (2 days a week in the youngest class). She loves going there and enjoys all the activities - playing, cooking, arts, reading books, and the beautiful playground, among others. We moved to Dallas from Switzerland. When we pick her up at noon, she tells me, 'I ha sone guete morge gha,' which means, 'I had such a good morning.' It's one of my favorite things in the world to hear, and I'm grateful to everyone at Northaven Cooperative Pre-School.
