I visited on New Year’s Eva… store looks very busy.
I was very impressed by staff and security. Staff managed still very good.
Store looks very clean and tidy.
Highly recommended for friend and colleague.

Security guard followed my partner and her brother round the store seemingly based on colour alone. Both dressed cleanly and well and only buying a single drink and chocolate bar each. Ironic considering my partner works for co op herself. I also work at a shop and have seen enough examples of this to know what I’m talking about. The guard was acting on racial prejudice plain and simple which is actually mildly comical given that he’s working in the most diverse city in the uk. This incident happened minutes before posting should co op wish to do due diligence and discipline the guard. The excuse of “he is just doing his job” does not stand in this case when you are following the only two people of colour in the store around based on absolutely nothing else.

My place to pop in before and after work ? and the staff are great there but I have to mention Barbara especially. I work in dental and customer service is priority regardless of stress or mood. Barbara is a fine example of how you should be . Helpful friendly smiley even when I’ve seen her there early and late. This woman deserves a pay rise and a customer service reward

This is my closest shop for the past 2 years. It’s got very good content but had questionable hours. It’s not 24/7 and in reality it closes between 1am and 3am on an inconsistent basis. I’ve submitted multiple photos to support this.
Edit: They tried to remove my review. I sent them two emails that they aren’t complaint with what they advertise. The trouble is I live here, so I can and will send a fresh photo whenever I can to point out that they claim they’re open when actually not.

I find this place quite helpful especially when you finish work late night and need to grab some snacks or a drink. Because it's open 24/7. But the prices are a bit higher than other retailers.

The sales assistant rolled her eyes and walked over to me at snail pace when I asked for help and the self-service checkout. The staff clearly don't get paid enough.
