Our 4.5-year-old has truly blossomed at nature school cooperative over the past couple of years!! Her teacher at her other school tells us that “she always wants to be outside” and that she is frequently a leader in outdoor adventures like leaf hunting this past fall. Her love of nature and skills from nature school were on full display during the warmer months when we are outside a lot more. She is an avid forager and proudly cared for a few worms in her worm farm last summer. She tries to bring critters inside and we find sticks and rocks in all sorts of places. She is definitely developing a love for all aspects of nature. We love you all! Thank you for all the care you put into these kiddos! 😊

Our 3 & 5 year olds attended a few weeks in the summer, and it was phenomenal. It was the most growth I've seen my kiddos experience in a short period of time. Their independence and confidence grew, and they developed SO much curiosity to explore and learn. Came home filthy and exhausted-- and with so many stories!! Completely worth the investment, these teachers are phenomenal!

We have had a great experience sending our daughter to Nature School Cooperative! Her math, social, and problem solving skills have exploded in the 3 months she's been attending and she can't stop talking about her friends and teachers. The community is exactly that, a community, and the teachers are incredibly responsive and communicative with us as parents, and so engaged, collaborative, and respectful with the students. I'm amazed every week by what my kid is learning and how she's developing. And having her in this school has helped our whole family find a better balance and dynamic at home.

My child's time at the Nature School Cooperative was such a powerful experience. This school had a profound impact on my son's academic and social emotional growth. The teachers at Nature School Cooperative are masterful educators that know how to facilitate deep learning in an environment that is both joyful and engaging. I was beyond impressed at how intentional the activities were, and equally impressed to see how these activities were adapted to be responsive to meet the needs and interests of the students. My child loved going to school each day. He came home with so much enthusiasm and excitement. I highly recommend this school to everyone and will be forever grateful that my child had the opportunity to attend this school.

Ryan and Kat are truly amazing educators who have built an incredible team. Their approach is well rounded and tailored to meet each child where they are. I've seen so much growth in my child since enrolling her at NSC and she is always excited to go to school. I also love that she is learning in an environment and with people who foster such a deep connection with nature. It's been such a pleasure being a part of the community they are building with the other families, too. They genuinely care for my child and my family and that has made such a difference for us. I would absolutely recommend NSC to other families who are trying to find (or expand) their village.

Ryan, Kat, and Byrd are phenomenal educators, mentors, and caregivers. Our kids love them as their own family and gained so much from their experiences in both Forest School Fridays and summer sessions. We enrolled in the Fridays program to dip our toes into the world of outdoor education and were absolutely blown away. The inclusion and learning our kiddos gained here are experiences that will last a lifetime and we will certainly be back for more outdoor adventures. I cannot recommend this program enough!

My daughter spent a week at nature camp this summer. We will definitely be sending her back next summer and hopefully for some drop-in days during the year because this program is incredible. We hiked as a family the following weekend and she told us all about evaporation, respecting the Earth, the sun, coyotes, and all sorts of things she learned at camp. Thank you Kat, Byrd, and Ryan for nurturing her growth in ways that only your program can do.
