Amazing!!! I got my first baby here back in May of 2024! She is the best thing ever! Super sweet and lovey. Skye is the sweetest kitty and absolutely the best! Jokingly she should have been half price because she only has half a tail 🤪

Me and my husband had been talking about getting a dog since we started living together, early December we went snowboarding and there was a festival for Bernese dogs and thought no way could we handle a dog like a Bernese. On the way home we passed by a an adoption center and I got the idea to start looking cause we’ve been talking about getting a dog, most of the places closed in the next hour so we looked at human society! I saw a dog that sadly wasn’t available at the location so we decided to still look. We came across the most beautiful pair, A 10 yr old Australian Shepherd and a 6 yr old Bernese! They were cuddled together and their stories were just perfect for our household, we weren’t planning on getting a bonded pair but once we were able to meet these sweet pups we considered their age, health and of course happiness! They had been surrendered only 4 days prior to us showing up. We knew considering they were seniors and bonded it would take some time for them to get adopted out by someone else so we decided it should be us!. I couldn’t be happier with this unexpected surprise and the sweetest, most spry pups! The process was lengthy but makes up for their life time of happiness and the staff that worked with us were very informative and helpful. Thank you guys so much!

So if you put your money down on a pet you want and someone who works there wants it, they will take your deposit but you won’t get the pet. I was told 2 different stories by 2 different employees and neither of their stories made sense. I am happy to donate and not all the employees or volunteers are shady, but they need to be more honest and legit to the customer. I was given my deposit back, but I was not told the truth and that’s wrong.

First time using the humane society for a vet appointment. We usually use our own vet; however, they wanted $400 for a feline neuter and others wanted anything from $300-$600. The humane society could do it for $90. They then offered to do all shots too for a total of $180
Well worth it and much economically friendly.

The staff were friendly and the facility clean and modern.

What an emotional and difficult job these people have! They help animals of all walks and are compassionate to the humans who need help for their animals. I've been in there many times and not once have I had a bad experience. Sean in intake is one of the best imo

100% amazing service. Lacy Lou or Lou Lou was in area 25 all the way in the back. She was shy and a little scared while in the shelter but once she got home she lit up the room with her smile and sleeping on the couch. I’m so thankful to have the humane society. Lou Lou has a forever home and I am thankful

Brought my beautiful little man in to be neutered at the wonderful Humane Society Clinic on site. The staff was wonderful from start to finish. Everything was explained from start to finish, and I felt very comfortable leaving my handsome boy in their capable and compassionate hands. The pricing was very fair and you can get everything done all in one place. He is home 8 hours later and I happily don't have to worry about him increasing the cat population, spraying in my house and he will live a longer stress free life! Win, win situation for the whole family!!😀

I don't like the dishonest "choice holds" and I think they are using them to make extra money off of adopters instead of just being honest and transparent in their fees. If a dog or cat is up for adoption, but perhaps not at the facility, or has not been cleared for adoption, but is at the facility, you can put a choice hold on them for $50. Okay, that's fine, but when they tell you you can go pick up the animal, they don't allow you to interact with them, whether you and the animal and you are a good match matters not at all. You don't get to go play with the animal or sit with them, you have to just adopt the animal and they bring them to the front and hand them over. And I think we can all agree it's impossible to tell anyone's personality, let alone if we will get along with them, from just a photo or looking at them through a glass pane. It really just is a bad practice that they should do away with if you aren't allowed to see and interact with the animal before the adoption like every other non-choice hold animal at the Humane Society. The choice hold I placed was lifted from the more than 4 month old animal less than 24 hours from when they took my money. They did nothing. They called me the next day, when the animal wouldn't be ready until the 14th, and said I could come adopt. They didn't say come and see if you and the animal are a match. They just wanted to get $50 from a cute puppy owner surrender choice hold. And why are cute little animals $250 and others over $100 less than that just because they may need more help with their situation? One dog you had you were giving medication just so people could be around the animal. What happened to integrity? What is the name of the owner who responds to these reviews?
