Was a member here for about seven years for cd’s only. Had to move them someplace else because their technology was lacking other institutions and they could not move my funds to linked accounts.

I do not recommend Aneca if you are looking for a modern institution. Their systems are not adequate for today’s customers. I was actually quite surprised by the numerous technological advances that other credit unions in the area had over this credit union.

I didn't go to the Youree location, but I did go to the Mansfield Rd location. It was great! I was helped by a super nice lady named Mrs P., I believe. She was so nice and super easy to work with!!!! I enjoyed the experience!!

Tellers are extremely slow at the drive through especially when you are the only vehicle in line. Customer service use to be very courteous and pleasant, now 98.99% are rude with lack Customer service skills. Switching to Barksdale credit union soon before the year is out.
Update: 3/18/23 They have gotten better, so now I have an account with both Aneca & Barksdale Credit Union.

You can’t reach anyone by phone on a regular basis no matter what day of the week it is. Voicemails are not returned, emails to them get no response of any kind. They used to be the best credit union around but in the last 3 or 4 years they’ve steadily gone downhill. This is no longer the business that it was and we are now in the process of going elsewhere.

I love driving up to the drive thru and seeing everyone. They are so friendly and personable. I absolutely love Aneca Credit Union. They have helped me learn so much about building my credit and I have made some incredible friends. Great Credit Union to be apart of!!

I applied for a PPP loan at Aneca after being told my Capital One that they were only taking names, not applications. Within 24 hours of submitting my application and documentation, I was approved and funded. Jessica Watkins and Brent Paddie were awesome, responsive and professional. The other staff members with whom I had contact were pleasant and helpful. I became a member and look forward to a great association with Aneca as they continue to serve our community.

Free checking account for members is nothing new. I joined Aneca in 1988 when I worked at 525 Milam Street and they were on the first floor, just off the lobby.

Their online banking is so convenient.
