Unfortunately we drove 2 hours there and two hours because my special needs child had contracted COVID. They had a test as we entered the camp. I was glad they caught it up front so he did not pass it to other campers. My issue was, as soon as the COVID test results were revealed, the staff person we were dealing with acted like we had leprosy and became cold and refused to work with us. They only wanted us to leave immediately. Difficult to deal with immediately after discovering our plans for the next week were cancelled. I get that it needed to be the way it turned out to protect the other campers. I don't get why they needed to refuse to help at all during the situation.

Son had a great week at Camp CAMP. This was his first year and he is excited to go back next year. They had a wide variety of activities and the counselors were very involved with the kids. Campers are sent home with a journal detailing the activities for each day.
