If you were to ask me what I would have given canvas as a rating a few weeks ago I would have said a solid five stars always helpful never too long of a line. Now that they changed their hours on all of their locations to either 5:30 or 5:00 p.m. it makes an impossible for me to get to the bank during the week during normal business hours. This change is probably going to make me change credit unions. I really hope they change the hours back to a reasonable hour so that normal people working jobs can get to the bank after they get off work.

Went to inquire about a loan on 10/19/24 they told me my credit needed to be ran before they could even say if they could finance my commercial truck or not. Which is fine. I didn’t want to risk my credit being pulled without a confirmation that they could finance it. I decided against the whole thing and made it clear I don’t want my credit checked for no reason and I would not be applying for the loan. Checked my credit today and sure enough they checked my credit without my permission. I now have a hard check that lowered my credit score. I am beyond infuriated by this situation they had not right or permission by me to do this. I now have to dispute this credit check with the three credit bureaus. Such an inconvenience I’m looking in to closing my accounts over this violation of my information and trust.

I truly cannot emphasize this enough. Kate is the SWEETEST person i’ve ever encountered in any credit union. I’m anxious enough as is and she was so patient and kind, she was more than willing to answer any of my questions and concerns. She throughly informed me on everything before I made a final decision. People like Kate are truly so hard to come by, Thank you tremendously for your help!!🫶🏾

Working on an used-car auto loan thru Canvas, they quoted me ~7.6%. We took the paperwork over to Holden Honda, on Arapahoe Road. This was about the 3rd time for this ONE car they did a credit check on me & my wife. When they found out the credit score was great, they jacked the rate up to 13.3%!

Fortunately, the finance manager had another credit union in his hip pocket so we paid 7.2% interest. Needless to say, Honda gets 5 stars (which I'll be writing shortly), while Canvas we won't be using again.-SG

Danica is the most professional, trustworthy, and wonderful person I have ever worked with in the banking industry.

Time and time again she has come through for me and my business regarding several different scenarios I have encountered over the past couple of years. She responds quickly, jumps on issues and problems immediately and always provides inciteful and indepth feedback and answers!

I have personally sent a letter to the CEO of Canvas to inform him of how much an asset she is the organization and how I will never go anywhere else for my banking needs.

Not the first time they close earlier than posted hours. I hope corporate fires whoever does this nonsense. What’s the point of having listed business hours if you’re going to close 5-10 minutes before then?!

This branch makes me cringe. Last month, I used the drive thru as a hopeful convenience. If you were hoping to get your hair braided, then yes, it would have been. I waited just a little over 2 minutes for a teller to answer the call and tube just so I could get a pen. I had to wait until one of the tellers' hair was done getting braided. Then, after I sent my signed check, it was another 12 min. I was the only car in line for the first 85% ish of my wait. Even goung inside the personnel seem fake and non helpful. With the personal and round counters, it makes it feel less personal.
