Very unique must try experience. We got the fish dinner and shrimp dinner, which were excellent! We will be back for perch and walleye very soon. This tiny place is a gem. Can't wait to go back

It's obvious this is a well-loved place as half of the people who came in were greeted by name. Easy to see why. Good food, great prices.

Their efficiency was amazing. Our meals were cooked to order in 9 minutes. In that time, they served several other customers. Most had ordered ahead.

If you're looking for ambience, this ain't your place. But if you're looking for hole-in-the-wall, neighborhood fried chicken and fish, it might be.

We entered the establishment blind. The young lady at the counter was nice and kept us smiling with jokes. Which made things feel a lot more like we are at home with family. It felt so good to the soul. The food smelled so good but had to wait cause it was fresh and hot. Flavorful and full of life, I'm ready to get my hands dirty with this.

We finally got around to trying chicken coop, tonight! I got the 10pc tender with mushrooms and my partner got the 10pc tender with the fried cheese cubes. Everything was so good and fresh! My partner said the spicy ranch is delicious. The tenders and mushrooms were super juicy.
We’ll definitely be going again!

Everything about the coop in Muskegon is excellent, I have been going for years, and I have never had a bad experience, hands down, they have the best chicken and fish in the area and the customer service excellent, they either know your name or your face, and they make you feel like family.
