Very disappointed with this bank because of the following experience.
I had two accounts open with Credit Union Advantage "CUA" for more than 2 years. One was checking and another saving. I was moving to another state so I had to close the checking account and was told by the bank officer that I had to keep the saving account open to maintain the credit card that I'm having with them so I did.
I didn't remember that one of other credit cards I have "Chase bank" still had the checking account info of CUA CLOSED checking account and I havent remembered to update it.
Chase credit card tried to pull money out of the CLOSED checking account with CUA.
CUA charged me unfairly with 84$ because my chase credit card tried to pull money out of a CLOSED checking account !! "No money ended up being pulled at all from CUA and the pulling attempts were denied automatically however CUA still charged me 84$ for trying to pull money from a CLOSED account" !!
It's totally unfair and doesn't make any sense to charge those fees since I've already CLOSED the account.
When I talked to two bank officers over the phone and explained what happened, they totally insisted on me paying those fees.
This is totally unfair and disappointing!
