Today I was told that Shelby branch no longer had teller services available inside the branch. When I tried to use the outside teller machine every other word was static and impossible to understand anything. Which is an ongoing problem at these machines. The transaction i was trying to complete could not be done. So I could not get my cash at this branch. So now the credit union wants me to drive 15 miles out of my way so I could get this transaction completed? Why should I continue to bank here, when down the street is the school and government credit union where i am sure I get all services I used to get at Free Star. Is this instition so cheap they think a teller position will save them money and really offer me better rates from not having this position? Thats what i was told. Who believes this? Very disappointed having been a 35 year customer. Maybe it's time to bank where I can get services i need. To top things off I have a shoulder injury that makes it difficult to use the outside teller machine.

Rachel and Shelby are amazing. Very helpful and always friendly when I stop in the Shelby Twp. branch! I have been a member for over 40 years and I highly recommend FreeStar!

I came in for help with paying off some debt and Rachel immediately explained some options and how things work at FreeStar Financial. Her knowledge on product offerings and commitment to fair lending is a true testament to her work ethic and experience. Ever since this experience I have now decided I will switch over and use FreeStar financial for all my banking needs!
