Grow Financial. Was a highly recommended credit union bank to me from family members.
I had a couple of fraud in my checking account.
We I report that it wasn’t me. They fix it. It kept on happening. Before, I left to move to Kissimmee Florida. I want to stay with grow financial. The manager told me No. Very disrespectful. He gave me a bad image about the bank credit union.
I notice, over very night the bank was improving very quickly.
I like to truth to God (Jesus Christ). And the service we deserve. With the banks.
I thought we can trust this banks. It so sad.
Please, be careful what bank to trust.
Thank you, God Bless

This place is shady. Will NEVER USE Again. Shame on me for letting my guard down and not using my local credit union or bank. This organization took $465 dollars from me by adding fine print charges back to the auto loan base for insurance coverage "they bought on my behalf", which I had adequate coverage at the time of purchase and currently maintain. They said I did not show proof of coverage. They encourage you to set things up electronically, which is fine, but they are not going to notify electronically if they need something. They will mail you fifteen letters about nothing or mass mail communications to get you numb to the letters, then send you one that looks like junk mail saying you need to go to a random website where you log your insurance information. Loathe businesses like this.

I humbly believe your manager at the Weasley Chapel is totally unfit to run that branch. He is a bad person with no people skills whatsoever and even worse: absolutely zero common sense.

I went in yesterday to ask permission to cut 7” (seven inches!) of a branch from a tree on their grounds for Bonsai. Incredibly told the secretary “no” (I could see him behind the glass in his burrow). He Didn’t have the courtesy to mimic an “I am sorry” through the glass, he did not even lift his head, or come out of the hole with some excuse like “I am so sorry but I cannot make a reasonable decision on such a strange request because my supervisors cannot trust my judgment or common sense… I only invest money for my clients”. I would have understood that.

Why he denied such a simple request remains a conundrum to me. He may no like a well-dressed smiling white man walking into “his” branch with another purpose than bringing money. God knows…

If I had an employee like that in my business I'd fire him on the spot for lacking the most basic people skills, a total lack of common sense and a clear proclivity to wickedness.

I had 6 large flowering Flamboyant trees that I planted myself in front of my house in Largo. It would never cross my mind to deny anybody a cutting of those trees that I loved. I sold the house 2 years ago and I still miss those trees.

That 7” cutting (which actually would have been great for the tree because stimulates branching and more branching implies more flowers) I am sure will cost the company at least 2 or 3 investors: nobody deals with bad-hearted people, and nobody would put hard-earned money on the hands of someone with no common sense and a clear inclination to random acts of wickedness.

If your average client deposits in your company $ 5,000.00 (very conservatively) and you lose let's say just 2 clients per posting, my three postings will cost the company $ 30,000.00 (without counting my $ 5,000.00 either).

The most expensive 7” ever and another 1-star review that this company certainly does not need.

This is the most awful credit union on the planet! I was basically robbed of thousands of dollars on my car loan. I purchased a vehicle about a year ago and the auto dealer assigned my financing through Grow financial. For about 6 or 7 months I never missed a payment or was never late. I decided to make 8 months of payments on my loan which accounted for about $5000 dollars. One day I decided to log on to my personal account on the website and I noticed my balanced for my car did not move down at all. I called Grow Financial inquiring why my balance has not decreased. I was told by the agent that " The statement will only show 3 payments at a time. It will reflect after posting." So I figured I was good knowing I had paid 8 months in advance on my loan. Just recently I received a past due notice from Grow Financial for my auto payment. When I called the credit union I was told that you can only make 3 payments at a time and the rest goes to the principal! WHAT I have never heard of such a thing. Long story short, they took all the money I paid on the loan off the top of the loan because they wouldn't get their money in interest because the car was moving to get paid off early. Fair to say I am no longer with these thieves and they have not heard the last from me yet!!! Do not do business with this fraudulent company.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This bank, yes I said bank, they are not a credit union in my book because they are for profit not non-profit. I signed for a 7% interest rate and they were scamming. I've been paying on my loan for 1 year and 3 months and out of over $5000 Grow has pocketed over 3k of it. When I called to find out why they are over charging me for interest they said oh you have to pay $5.40 a day PLUS interest!!! So no matter how much you owe you will always have to pay a minimum of $162 A MONTH for them to just HOLD the loan! So I'm not paying 7% interest I'm actually paying 14!!! I have good credit and could have gotten my loan from anyone!! I didn't pay this much when I was paying Capital 1 28% for my very first auto loan! Whatever you do, don't EVER get a auto loan from this fraudulent, predatory BANK. Hard money lenders don't charge this much!!

Very dissatisfied with Grow Financial due to hurricane Ian I received damage that wasn't covered by my car insurance, due to High deductible and FEMA relief, decline me as well.
Growth financial only offered the disaster relief loan for a short period and I miss the deadline on that loan by One day
so I'm out on that!
Which I found out other Credit union are still offering.
I won't qualify for due to the hard pull on my credit, from Grow Financial.
from me try to get a personal loan for $1000 dollar to fix damage on my vehicle from hurricane Ian Grow Financial decline me on the personal loan for $1000
all I got was I'm sorry due to debt to income ratio they can't loan me the money
Grow Financial did a hard pull on my credit which should be stated at application process that it's a Hard pull not Just stating a credit check.
Now chances for me look for loan elsewhere are lower because of that hard pull on my credit which will drop my score more
If I know first off it would of been a hard pull on my credit probably would not have decided to go with personal loan
My debt to income ratio was good enough to get me in a Grow Financial vehicle loan but not good enough for me to get a loan to fix my vehicle.
That hurricane Ian damaged !
Growth financial left me hanging!!
I still owe on my vehicle still have to find a way to get
damage fixed from hurricane Ian on my vehicle
My my vehicle loan is twice as much as what I try to borrow Please
makes it make sense
now I need my back window fix on my vehicle
can't go borrow no were else yet because of the hard pull on my Credit.
Now I have to struggle and drive my vehicle without a back window and make my vehicle payment that I have financed through Grow Financial that decided not to helping me in time of need.
Grow Financial is apart of
having my debt to income ratio High
it's like no place I can turn.
reach out to Grow financial as My Financial institute just to get declined because of debt
That I partially owed to GROW FINANCIAL
All I received from Grow Financial is sorry and is there anything else they can help me with
please makes it make sense why ask me if can help me with anything else
when I asked for help you decline me with what I needed help with
but they said there here for your financial needs lies with no remorse either

Received new cards in the mail, that I didn’t request. I had to call to order a new one because one of the new chips wasn’t working. They charged me $20 for a replacement! What a scam. And they tell me it’s non-refundable because I requested it. I didn’t ask for it in the first place! I’m going to bank somewhere else.

I have been a member of Grow since back when it was MacDill and I have always loved this bank however over the past few year I have seen a significant decline in the customer service accuracy of the information being given. I have had several instances where the info was wrong and as a result it has effected my businesses negatively.

Most recently I called customer service to find out if a customer could do a stop payment on a specific check that had already been deposited in my bank and was told "NO they could not do a stop payment because the check had already cleared". As a result of this information I issued the customer a refund check in the mail and over the weekend my client "WAS" able to stop payment on their check and withdraw their funds paid and now because of your CS bad information I had already cut the client a refund check, this happens to be a VERY difficult unethical client and am not confident they will do the right thing and return the over payment. Therefore, I had to do a stop payment on my check with Grow and they want to charge me $35.00. If if weren't for Grows CS bad information I would have never cut that refund check.

In addition to this I called Grow months ago to find out if Grow was participating in the PPP program and was told NO. I filed with Citi bank and two days later Grow is offering the PPP program. Once again bad information from CS! The name of your bank is Grow Financial FEDERAL credit union. If for some reason Grow decided to participate in the PPP program after my initial phone call, that should have never happened. You all are a federal credit union and you should have jumped on this program long before you did. As you know small businesses are suffering and YOU are a small business program. I know you are participating now but your CS should have been better informed and accurate in their information given to us, your customers!

I remember years ago when you all invited your small business owners to a luncheon at corporate where you asked our opinion on things the bank could do better, it appears it is time for that once again. Take a look at your overall bank rating on line 2.5 that pretty bad and needs to be improved if you want to help small business and keep your customer base. I would choose a small bank like this any day over the big banks but you all need to improve for not only small businesses but your personal members. Strive for 5 star rating....we do with our business!!
