I'm moving out after 1.5 years because I'm moving to a new city, but I'm so, so sad to leave here. I've made a lot of wonderful friends and have changed a lot as a person by living here, with new perspectives on how to live sustainably and and be more connected to the people around me. After Covid-19, that's incredibly valuable.

Rents are incredibly affordable for this neighborhood, and you can set your required labor (five hours a week) to best meet your own interests and skills. There's really incredible people here who care about this house and our planet. Moving into a co-op seemed kind of crazy at first, but I think it's one of the best decisions I've ever made.

Personally it'll be bittersweet to move to a new city when I graduate, because I've made so many amazing and formative memories during my 3 years of living here. It'll always have a special place in my heart!
