The only review most people read are the 1 star ones. Dr. Grau came recommended by several people who had surgery. After my initial consultation in Nov. 2023 I scheduled my RTKR in the beginning of January. I was in out patient physical therapy the following day at Hudson Regional Hospital, the same place I had my surgery. I was standing in line for coffee one day when I ran into Dr. Grau. He examined my knee and asked me to walk, taking away my cane since I was only 2 weeks post op. I proceeded to my PT where my therapist informed me she just received a text from Dr. Grau concerning my progress. Graus' genuine concern for his patients are what sets him apart from the other Dr.s' I've seen in the past. I am now 8 months PO. watch the video

I had Robotic Knee Surgery (partial replacement) with Dr. Grau in 2022. My first surgery ever & I’m very pleased with the results. I haven’t had any issues or pain. Dr. Grau is the best in the game. I highly recommend him to friends & family when they ask for an Orthopedic. He takes his time to explain everything to you & is very attentive to his patients who may have any questions or concerns regarding knee or hip surgery. I have no regrets going with Dr. Grau!

I experienced a vascular necrosis in my left hip due to my 20+ years of taking steroids for my lupus. Having recommended by my physical therapist about Dr Grau I was able to see him right away. He saw I was barely able to walk with a cane and in severe pain. He was able to get me in for surgery the following week. Recovery was very fast. In less than 4 weeks I was walking with a cane. Followed by PT. For last 3 years I am continuing to walk normal and recommending others about Dr Grau.
His annual follow-up visits keep me check to take care of my body like an oil change or tube up for the mechanical part of the hip. Knowing same issue may happen to my other hip, taking X-rays for him to review gives me piece of mind.
Dr Grau is an excellent orthopedic surgeon.

Dr. Grau is amazing he did my anterior hip replacement on 8/13/24, I was up and walking same day pain free and by end of 2nd week back to normal activities. Dr. Grau has excellent bed side manners, he is genuine and cares about his patients. Also, his staff is very professional and friendly on the phone and in person, I highly recommend !

Dr Grau performed my arthroscopic shoulder repair in August. I was better than before the surgery by 2 weeks and fully recovered in 3 months. I was back to work as pipe fitter 6 weeks after surgery. Would recommend him to everyone

I had robotic right knee replacement surgery with Dr. Grau in January 2024. I had minimal pain the day after surgery. I must admit PT wasn’t easy, but Dr. Grau made me stick with it. Hudson Regional Hospital was terrific and I would highly recommend them. Their PT staff was tough but they got me back to walking. Dr. Grau was recommended to me by my co worker Baleria, and I would definitely recommend him to any one needing knee or hip replacements. Thank you so much Dr. Grau.

Thanks to the surgeon. Dr Grau Did a beautiful job. I couldn’t really build my knee having problems walking but now I’m A-OK. I could be my knee. I can walk better. He did a great job. I think everybody that helped me that day.
