The young lady with really long braids who was working on 1/14/25 at the check-in counter, absolutely needs to be fired. I am not one to speak up in public, but I was seconds close to speaking up for a senior citizen who the employee was speaking with. Had my number not been called, I absolutely would’ve called her behavior out. Every single person the employee checked-in, she acted disgusted with them. Her demeanor and tone of voice was less than acceptable in a customer facing position. I will NEVER understand why people work people-facing jobs, If they don’t like people. It costs $0 to be kind to people who need a little extra assistance, ESPECIALLY senior citizens. Do better.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME ON ONLINE APP FOR REAL ID, you still have to provide hard copies of all documents…complete waste of time and no DMV is not paperless…they are not eco-friendly. They WILL NOT ACCEPT ELECTRONIC PDFS ON SITE NOR VIA ONLINE. THIS DMV HAS CREDITABILITY ISSUE EITHER ACCEPT ELECTRONIC DOCS or stop misleading the public!!! AND IF YOU HAVE A REAL ID from one of the other 49 states and it clearly states ‘Veteran’, CA DMV ARROGANCE is beyond, they don’t trust other State Governance…one of the many reasons people living outside of CA dislike Californians. The CA arrogance is ‘REAL’.

Went to Napa DMV early today to take the driving test and after waiting an hour and a half, got to the window and she said we needed an appointment. Driver instructor was standing right there and available. Don’t understand. They then scheduled an appointment for February 11th, but all the way in Fairfield. Checked online and saw there were appointments in Napa starting February 3rd. What is going on with these people?

I can’t even even chat with an assistant online without picking up mutual anger between the conversation, literally just people who hate their life’s and take it out on everybody else. Been trying to sell my truck and it’s been almost 2 months still no title and they say the same thing every single time we call but 0 solutions, just “ should be their in estimated 3 weeks max” and that does nobody any justice. Why can’t I go grab it and pick it up if it’s floating somewhere? And the guy who called me back on the phone put me and my uncle, who were trying to be polite on hold after it sounded like he threw a little tantrum, just not professional at all you have to almost harass these guys if you want something.

I walked in with my sister as well as my mom, we were met with a lady of color with a mask and braids. She was very disrespectful from the very start. Before we even spoke she looked us up and down and judged us. She mimicked us with her eyes making us seem dumb. We were there to set up an appointment to take our written test. She eventually found out that we were born in Mexico and even after giving her proof of being a citizen in the U.S. she proceeded to tell us that instead of applying to take the written test we should apply to get a green card. We said we were citizens and gave proof and she treated us as if we were illegal. Accused my mom of not being our mom as well. She kept making excuses on why we can’t take our written test just because she found out we weren’t born in the U.S. We’ve taken our test twice, each time she looked at us laughing with her eyes trying to provoke a reaction out of us. Overall she’s racist and she has no interest in helping anyone at the DMV.

I recently visited the DMV and had an unpleasant experience with the staff member at the front door handling non-appointment visitors. The woman, a black lady with a mask, she was extremely rude and displayed no interest in helping my sister and I. She was not just rude but racist and even had the audacity to question if my mom was even my mom. Once she found out we were born in Mexico she immediately started trying to find ways to not let us take the drivers test, despite the fact that we showed her all the paperwork needed to prove we’re citizens. Her comments were disrespectful and offensive. Her demeanor was unprofessional, and she clearly seemed to take pleasure in trying to deny us. And everytime we have gone in to take the drivers test, she eyes us and you can tell she’s giving us a dirty look, but in general she’s just so rude and she needs to stop.

The front station is staffed with a guy that walks away until the line is out the door. In a previous visit he saw a friend at the end of a line and took him to his window before the customer waited his turn. He is what is wrong with the DMV.
