I had a fantastic experience working with [Agent’s Brandon. He was incredibly helpful, professional, and knowledgeable throughout the entire leasing process. He took the time to answer all of my questions, guided me through every step, and made sure I felt confident in my decisions. Brandon’s friendly and attentive approach made finding the perfect place so much easier. I highly recommend Brandon for anyone looking for a smooth and stress-free leasing experience!

On behalf of my sister. There is something seriously wrong with the Property Manager. She and her staff are unprofessional to a level that I have never known, no exaggeration or fabrication. The way that NG rental office NOW looks is an example of how they run things over there. The PM doesn't care. She is a disgrace to Naylor Gardens. Something is really not right with Latishia Wright. She should not be in that position or in a position at all where she is responsible for the living conditions of of other people. Something is wrong and foul going on with Naylor Gardens' Board Members for them to keep hiring people like L.W. The Property Manager before her, Taren Howell, was just as bad. My sister wrote nine emails, contacted NG Board and contacted DOB at which time, they sent her a Notice of Infraction and she still did nothing about a tub faucet that had been running for literally two months. Its was not until mold started to grow in the tub that she got it taken care of. My sister has now contacted her six times because her kitchen ceiling is damaged, she told my sister that she was setting up people to repair it and that it wud b repaired after her fake inspection. Her inspection was two of her employees going to my sister's apartment to take pictures but my sister had already sent pictures!!!!!! After her fake inspection, she never fixed the ceiling and has never contacted my sister to tell her when it wud be fixed. She never contacted anyone in the first place. She's a liar, she's arrogant, she's doesn't care about people or their welfare. My sister contacted her, spoke to her and sent her an em on March 26 . Its April 13and this woman has done nothing. Dust and debris was falling on the floor, stove ranges, and the counter. She didn't even have the hole covered up while she was claiming to be in the process of getting it fixed. My sister had to cover it up. She's mad w my sister 4 reporting her and for telling her how she felt about how she handled the issue the first time. She even held my sister's rent check until the 28th of the month. Only when my sister went to her personally to confront her that she had no choice but to deposit it. She told my sister that legally she can hold checks for 6 mos. She was going to hold my sister's check and then claim that my sister didn't pay her rent. NG Board keep hiring highly inexperienced & unprofessional Property Managers bc it's cheaper and they get some type of pay off, that's word on the streets. My sister sent 9 emails re her maintenance issues a few months ago and have sent six re the issues that are going on now. My sister has lived at NG for over 20 years, she's a good tenant, she's a respectful tenant and a good and helpful neighbor. I'm so tired of seeing what my sister has to keep going through. They don't care about their leasing tenants. The Board Members only care about their shareholders. My sister's ceiling is still hanging to this day. Its really stressful. I hope that agencies and companies searching for Property Managers check reviews before hiring this woman or her Leasing Manager.

Please file a complaint with Department of Building online and go to Tenant Court to file a complaint and get a court date. Hence, this is the correct procedure to go through they will be fine infraction and you can ask for back rent to current if you go through the process that I mentioned and please include all the issues that in is taking place in your apartment. Hopefully this information helped

Do not move here… the ladies at the front have horrible attitudes as if the place is a 5 star property. The application process takes forever and all you get is non Chalant attitude when asking for updates. Also please make sure you email them first when you decide not to move in and want to collect your security deposit because they will use that against you and say an apartment is available therefore you cannot get your security deposit check back! Total BS. I have co workers who live there and the units are infested with roaches and mice. I did myself a favor not going through with the process of moving in and TRUST ME YOU WOULD TO BY TAKING THIS ADVICE!

I I could leave a negative 5 stars I would. This place is absolutely horrible. My refrigerator seal has been broken for over a year and they keep just coming and pushing the same seal back in. The rodents are ridiculous as I've had to move twice.
The management is a complete joke. They don't return calls or emails. The ONLY thing good going for this place is the cleaning staff and the landscapers who keep the outside appearance up. Beyond that THIS IS NOT the gem it appears to be on the outside.

I have live here for several years. Initially it was fine especially for the price of the units. But now, its horrible!. The apartments have several issues that cause health issues, rodent infestation and pipe burstings happen way to often. Maintenance is sooooo poor! My refrigerator was going bad and I notified them several times and now its completely out! No one followed up on my ticket despite how many I put in. Now I have no fridge and no food to store. I had leave work twice and still nothing

I was suppose to be renting an apartment from them granted the process took longer than expected because of my job with employment verification. But please be very aware they are rude and unprofessional. They will also con you out of your money. I went to go finally look at the apartment and granted they had a whole two months to fix things and everything still wasn't fixed. Then I asked for my $100 back and was told because I decided not to take the unit it was non refundable. That was never told to me nor is it in black and white. Things in writing are very important. I was only told that if I didn't get approved for the apartment I would get it back. Also if I got approved for the apartment it would go towards my first month rent. With that being said they are very unprofessional and I would not recommend anyone to move here unless you are extremely desperate. But to actually go back and forth with a potential resident is rude, unprofessional and disrespectful within itself. I guess they thought I was just going to take the unit and pay them my money and not inspect the unit in it's entirety. I would expect better from this apartment complex seeing as though you have young professional African American leasing and rental people in charge. It saddens me because I was really look forward to moving here. I knew something was wrong when I had to keep calling to see when the apartment was going to be ready to view.

I have lived here for almost 4 years. Honestly, my overall experience has exceeded the initial expectations I had about the community. I will admit, there was some skepticism about the neighborhood and I made it my business to do random pop-ups to scope out the area (pre-gentrification). When I finally decided to make a call to set an appointment to visit the property, I spoke with Ms. Pearl who immediately offered me the opportunity to visit and view the model apartment. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the friendly and outgoing staff in the Leasing Office. The property manager at the time (her name was Lisa), made it her business to introduce herself and inquire about my interest in Naylor Gardens. Ms. Pearl served as my Leasing Consultant and provided professional top notch assistance during the process and my transition into the Naylor Community. Maintenance has been on it and I haven't experienced many problems with my actual unit. On the few times when I have contacted the maintenance department, the staff have been really friendly and work orders resolved within days. Unfortunately, there has been a change with the property management, which has brought about a certain level of disappointment and some dissatisfaction from the community members. Let me take a moment to pause parenthetically to thank the chairman of the board for this change *insert sarcasm here*. We can definitely tell the difference in the overall excitement and culture of the property. The office staff remains friendly and diligent in assisting residents with their interests as well as their concerns. While I know it's been a bit of a challenge and adjustment, acclimating themselves to the Naylor Community, they continue to push forward and give their best all while trying their hardest to keep within the same spirit as the old leasing office staff by providing outstanding and stellar customer service. I personally want to shout out Ms. Pearl, Jaslyn, and the gentleman who's name escapes me but they work hard and are extremely kind. Unfortunately, I wish I could say that same for the (Assistant) Property Manager, Taren Howell who is BEYOND incompetent and causes more chaos and confusion than I'd even care to type at this point. She masks her incompetence by trying to be super nice which I believe is a disguise for being "nice nasty" or maybe even "nasty, rude, and passive aggressive". I'm not exactly sure how she managed to secure the role as a property manager but so I'll just say that no one else was willing to step up to the plate and she received it by default. If you're looking for a place to live, then I would recommend the Naylor Gardens Cooperative Apartments. Despite what you may have heard or seen, it's actually a great place and one of Southeast's best kept secrets.
