Called earlier and told them I wouldn't be there until 5 min after they closed and needed to get unloaded. They stayed and unloaded me. Nice folks

When the other fuel centers in town were down with power outages, the COOP was open. I didn't have a COOP fuel card but Jeff was able to fuel up my truck (that was on empty) and get me home, trusting me to pay the next day. THAT is what makes middle America great.

Terrible place to deliver grain to. The first time I had been there was during wheat harvest. There were no other trucks there at the time besides me so I pulled onto the scale which is under the probe. I got out to untarp so I could be probed. Then on my way to untarp the scale attendant comes out yelling at me for not being untarped before pulling onto the scale. He then told me that he was going to poke a hole in my tarp for not untarping ahead of time. Then he went back into the office and ran the hydraulic probe up and down over my tarp in a threatening manner as I unrolled. Then when I came to get my empty ticket he explained that had I ever done that again he would poke a hole in my tarp and there would be no warning.

It gets worse because I called the manager to ask why I cannot simply pull onto the scale when no one else is there to unroll the tarp. And expressed my grievances about the scale attendant. He took the side of the scale attendant and told me that rules are rules and I quote "you will stop before the scale to untarp. Regardless of it being completely open or not. Do you understand me? Is that understood. You will do as your told before you pull on the scale at my elevator" he was very rude and unreasonable to talk to.

There is a huge lack of intelligence and utterly disrespectful manager and scale attendant at this elevator. I really do not appreciate being threatened by an employee. And I especially can have no respect for a manager that encourages that behavior.

It makes zero sense to make the truck stop before the scale to untarp when the scale is open. It makes great sense to request that trucks untarp before pulling on the scale if they are sitting in line waiting to access the scale. But its beyond me why it matters if you are the only one there that you cant unroll on the scale.

What's worse is that the manager backs up the threats of the scale attendant. Terrible management and scale attendant The workers that unload the trucks on the other hand are great people and very friendly. So I dont want this post to reflect on the hard working individuals there. It's only reflective of the management and scale attendant of the larned location.

I am under the impression that the management and scale attendant want to treat the truck drivers that deliver there as if they are dogs and want to show the truckers that they have authority over the drivers and you will do what they say or else. I would certainly imagine they would not treat their patrons in the same manner but I don't know that either.

There is no other logical conclusion that I can come to. It does not speed up the line if I have to park behind an open scale to unroll. Then pull on. It in fact slows things down. They could have me probed before I get back in my truck if I unroll on the scale. Of course when there is no one else there and the scale is wide open. As I said before it's completely reasonable to ask me to unroll if waiting in line for the scale. It's completely unreasonable to make me unroll in front of the wide open scale and then pull on. That is why I think it is all a power play and it is just disgusting. And the most disgusting part again is for an employee to threaten vandalism of property and have the manager support that employee. Patrons and board members of this coop should be ashamed of their management and scale attendant!
