We used the Syracuse Cooperative Market to cater and event we were hosting in the Community Room at Salt City Market, and the experience was fantastic! We ordered a platter of sandwiches, a charcuterie platter, a veggie platter, and a fruit platter. The sandwiches were a nice mix of fillings, and I was glad they included a vegetarian sandwich, because several guests were looking for that option! The food was beautiful and appealing, and everyone enjoyed it. In addition, the COOP staff came into the Community Room and put out the food and supplied (real, not disposable) plates and silverware. Ordering and paying was easy, and we would definitely recommend using them for catering!

Another gem inside the Salt City Market. We came through here as out of towners just to eat lunch and check out the market. The Cooperative Market was so awesome we bought some snacks for our hotel room. We got some cheddar cheese, chorizo, chips and salsa. All were delicious and we would happily buy them again in a heartbeat.

This market was clean, well stocked and organized. They have fresh, local and organic food. It’s amazing to see how much they fit into a small space we came across fresh produce, cheese, charcuterie, snacks, spices, dry goods, cleaning supplies, beverages, ready made stuff to grab and go and frozen foods. I am sure there is more and I’m not covering it all. Check it out when you are in the area.

Friendly helpful patient staff. Overwhelming amount of diversity in food for the space

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The store is very organized. The staff follows cdc guidelines by sanitizing periodically and wearing face masks, that's what I personally observed. Everything I purchased was so fresh and tasty. They have a big selection of products. The biggest perk for me is that they have a freezer section and a produce section. They also sell reusable bags.

I appreciate having such a lovely coop in the community that promotes local suppliers. I know its hard work to balance customer needs and the needs of suppliers at the same time to benefit both! Thank you for doing the hard work!

I really want to like this place but I really don't. It's something you'd find in any given neighborhood in NYC or Chicago with much lower prices in those cities. In this location the prices are just wildly unjustified, exploiting the fact that you can't find similar items locally to compare with. I don't respect those who take advantage with what's pretty standard products/stock in many other cities.
