This "Credit Union" has to have the worst customer service ever. In my earlier years, I had previously worked as a Retail Banker II, and I have never given this level of brash disregard for customer service. Nor have I ever received this type of blatant disrespect from a customer service representative from a financial institution before, for that matter.

You know when someone does not like you for NO REASON and you can just see it in their eyes, but yet, they don't say anything. We'll picture that annoying feeling that you would get from that, but her being very emotionally vocal, almost insinuating to the point that she is just not willing to help you...

I'm a Platinum member, for God sake... This call happened on 10/3/2024 at 3:10 P.M. please review your own records of this conversation because Sandy has a serious attitude and manner problem that sounds like she needs to resolve outside of work if I'm to be completely honest.

In this conversation that I had with the lovely Mrs. Sandy, I had requested for my account number related to my credit card so I can pay bills.

Starting with the 4 to 5 security questions ranging from my mothers maiden name to when I had first created this account, which is completely normal to that standard. But, in all of these questions she had asked, I couldn't help the fact that I could sense she was already annoyed by the tone and demeanor in her voice.

After that, then there was a whole bunch of "technicalities," and "Oh right, "it's 2024 and hackers, and you could be one. " Even though I verified all my information previously with her.

She just refused to help me even though I had requested to have this information sent to the e-mail in which I provided TDECU upon being a member at this location.

Even before I could say anything or rebuttal her comments, she then proceeded to say, "I'll have to get a managers approval on this," and then quickly put me on hold to avoid having me answer her question of either a yes or no.

As the phone went silent, I hung up the phone and sat there and was just baffled due to the level of disrespect that I had just received from Mrs. Sandy. There was no decency as to waiting for a response, no manners to speak of, and it just felt crude with level of service in general.

I could go to 3rd world countries that would have better customer service than this. This is truly disappointing.

This is after 2 weeks of having a credit account with them, by the way. (Thank you, George Hernandez, for a wonderful experience!!)

If I didn't care about my credit score so much, I would just cancel out my card, but instead, this credit card is going in the dump just like this Credit Union.

Goodbye, TDECU. Hello Brazos Credit Union or whatever y'all are turning into.

I'll eventually cancel out my account with this Credit Union because I will never forget "Mrs. Sandy," that works at TDECU, who gave me the worst customer service experience of my life, and that is to no extent an exaggeration of the fact.

I bought a motorcycle using tdecu and opened an account with them the chat bot bingo the play over there is a nightmare get a real person to pick up the phone and when they do pick up you just be transferred to another line I ask to speak to a supervisor and could get one on the line for help and the line could not be transferred there not easy to work with but if you want to give them money it's no problem but help from them is in short supply I'm not sure I would not do business with them again and I couldn't recommend them to you either kc

Update: Another branch in the Pasadena aera has been very helpful, it was just one employee at the woodlands branch that messed everything up

I been banking with tdecu for 15 years and this location is terrible, they are soo lazy, hire more people or train them better because they dont know how to do their job
