My daughter and I have been saving for a chicken coop. We are both on a fixed income, so it had to be the right one.

We found The Chicken Coop Company, and I am so glad that we did!

The customer service is perhaps the best that I have experienced. Any questions that I had before our purchase were answered quickly. We bought the Rhode Island XL coop with the run.

The coop arrived, it was easy to track right to our door. The instructions both online and in the booklet were easy to follow! We put it together ourselves. Then we, along with my grandchildren, painted it.

We love the coop almost as much as our chickens do.

The folks at The Chicken Coop Company were as interested in our success as we were. I updated them on our progress as we built it, and they were encouraging and excited! I am a loyal customer now.

I highly recommend this Family owned company.

We ordered the XL Rhode Island coop and run. Arrived timely and in good condition. The assembly took about an hour with me and my husband and everything was clearly labeled. Our chickens love it. We've been using it since August and it's holding up well. Kept them protected during the negative temperatures. The design is good. Easy to clean and lots of access areas. Our plastic tray lining cracked on the side and chipped off but they are sending a new one at no cost to replace. Couldn't ask for better customer service. Very responsive and easy to work with.

I was in need of a coop quickly because I had a brooding mama hen that I as getting from a friend. The Rhode Island Homestead arrived quickly and was very straightforward to put together. The chickens couldn’t be happier. Mama hen has raised two flocks and ready for more. We have had an especially wet winter this year and it has stayed nice and dry inside. When it rains the chickens hang out below the coop to stay dry. We’ve had up to 10 birds at a time. It’s a bit tight but they seem to do just fine. I also bought the Chicken Guard automatic door which in my opinion is a must have. I often let the chickens out of the run and don’t have to worry about being home by dark to close the door. It has proven very reliable. If you want a quick and easy to put together coop The Chicken Coop Company is the way to go.

We bought a scratch and dent, and it had very little scratches and dents. We are really happy with the size and the instructions to follow are very easy. They recommended applying an extra stain, which we did, and it was a great call. The customer service we received throughout the whole process has been great.

I ordered the Road island homestead. The coop was incredibly well packaged, arrived quickly, and is extremely well made. The chicken coop company answered all of my questions with expertise, and they where very friendly! I highly recommend their products. You get what you pay for. Love the coop. Well built and easy to assemble. The poop tray rusted through after 2 years and they promptly sent a free replacement that looks like that problem was solved. Great customer service! Our three chickens are very happy. They really only use one nesting box but it looks so nice.

We have had the Rhode Island XL since 2021 and absolutely love it. Very well made, secure for overnight, and ventilation is perfect in summer while keeping them warm in winter. We added a longer playpen for days they aren't able to free range, but they are secure from predators in the original coop at night. Our neighborhood peacock also loves to come sit on the coop or run. The only issue I have had was due to the peacock getting on top of the coop bending the window hinge!! I contacted them, and they helped me right away with replacement hardware. I highly recommend The Chicken Coop Company and so do all our feathered friends!
