If you can get an account elsewhere, please do so. Although the employees at the branch are nice, they are not very knowledgeable. I got my account 4 months ago and it took 2 months just for a debit card to arrive, despite me going there and asking about it several times. And then it was just a “sorry there has been this and that issue, nothing we can do about it”. I also applied for a credit card which I still haven’t received. Apparently they say it was returned (although the address was correct) and they told me Mastercard destroyed it. Didn’t even ask if I wanted a new card. Smh?
Literally every single thing I’ve needed from them took forever to handle. Deposited a check and they told me there was gonna be a 5 day hold. After the 5 days I wanted to withdraw money (at the branch bc I didnt have the debit card lmao) and suddenly it was a 10 day hold and I couldnt get my money.
Have gotten fraud alert letters asking me to call them and when I call nobody even knows what the supposed fraud was.
Literally seems like nobody knows what they’re doing at UCU. I dont know if I’m just not being taken seriously bc I’m only a student or what is going on. But it’s been horrible and now I made an account with an online bank and got all cards within a week.

Although it was not advertised, I think University Credit Union is offering the lowest rate of auto loan, especially if you have an EV. I strongly recommend Sam and University Credit Union!

When she found out that I was in a time crunch, Sam set everything aside to work on my loan. I had inquired about interest rates with several lenders and she, by far, offered me the best rate. Then, when I arrived to sign the paperwork, she surprised me with an even lower interest rate when I signed up for payroll deduction.
