Very nice staff! Very welcoming and kind! I the physical therapist Audrey made me feel amazing and motivated to stand! And the nurses on duty were very long-suffering with all my requests

My brother had thoracic surgery yesterday and I spent the night here with him. Everyone I have dealt with has been so nice! I even heard a doctor offer to get a patient’s family food and drink. There are two reasons I gave it three stars - one is that this place is dirty. There is trash all over the floors - in the halls and elevators. And second, the food in the terrace dining is just awful! I guess I would prefer nice people but come on, it is a hospital. It should be much cleaner.

Rude Nurses and Dirty. This hospital has not one friendly soul in it. The nurses don’t pick up after themselves just leaving wrappers and containers even filled with blood all over (see pictures). They even leave wrappers on the patients and you will find them when you adjust their covers. Every time we paged the nurse they are slow to respond and act like you are inconveniencing them. They have left biohazard bags with blood in them in our room for days on end. I asked if they could pick that up ad it’s still here. We have asked to be moved to another hospital as this is not a place for a loved one. Ben Langdale was one of our pathetic nurses. if I could give a zero I would too. The canned response they add to the reviews shows they do not intend to improve.

I came in on 11/2/24 by ambulance in a C collar due to a possible head injury/concussion. The ER Supervisor told the Paramedic to put me in the waiting room. I waited 9 hours in the ER overnight. During this time, my husband and I both went to the triage nurse to ask for assistance since my symptoms were worsening. The triage nurse ignored both my husband and I for 9 hours and kept saying, "I can't do anything. Our system is down". The CT took 7 hours to complete. Not once did the triage nurse listen to our concerns. My husband and I asked for a Charge Nurse or Physician to evaluate me due to worsening symptoms with a possible head injury, and she excused us every time. This was a horrendous experience and I do not recommend bringing your loved ones to this ER. This is completely unacceptable.

I had to go down to pick up a copy of disc for a Dr office that I was told was my responsibility to do and I had to pay for it which wasn’t the problem it was the fact that the referring doctor had said there would be three that I would need but when I told the representative at the desk they were rude and argumentative and it’s not posted any where that they don’t accept cash so again she got rude about the fact that I tried to pay with cash. At this point I took out my debit card and said well here you go and paid for it if you don’t know you don’t know! No need for rudeness

0 stars. What a waste of time this pace has become. Literally a waste of time. Just spent an hour on the phone because Wellstar is sending messages about appointments needing scheduled, the scheduling service reps keep referring to different departments because they can't do their jobs, and then the correct department says they have a coordinator who reaches out and they don't schedule when you call their scheduling number.

Back when it was Augusta Health we had better experiences, but nothing pleasant since the mess that is Wellstar MCG took over. They didn't even transfer patient records so we had to spend hours recreating an elaborate medical history in their new electronic records system at our first appointment after they swapped over. Don't waste your time with them or else they're going to take the liberty of wasting your time for you.

Waste of time seeing anyone here. Thousands of dollars billed to me for an hour of a visit. Couple thousand more billed for the test. Charged things to my insurance instead of allowing me to pay so they could charge more through insurance. To also be told no discounts available to pay my whole bill while it's all over the website if you have no insurance they basically cut your bill in half.

Y'all responded but the number y'all left for me to call is one that has been disconnected and y'all have a new number to call...which I have and got nowhere obviously. So shitty to say the least whoever responds doesn't even know the numbers to call. Nothing explains an hour visit and being referred to other places resulting in a bill of 4044.00. Also told my calcium score test would cost me 100 bucks. Not surprised but nobody took my payment.... charged my insurance 267 dollars that they cover none of anddddd another bill for the same service for another 58 dollars. So a 99 dollar procedure turned into well over 300 just because basically because y'all didn't already rob me for enough money

I am currently pregnant with twins and recently transferred my care here because I was told there was a wonderful labor and delivery/women’s health department. The doctor who has taken over my care here is amazing.

However this facility needs to work on providing better patient support. I was told I had an appointment, but given no clear guidance on where to go and how to get to my appointment. The directions provided on the answering service for Womens Health is apparently incorrect, and having to walk from one medical office building to another when you are 32 weeks pregnant with twins is very frustrating. However, when we finally arrived at the correct location for the Women’s Health area, we were sent to three different areas on the 5th floor before someone actually saw my name and could check me in.

Along with all of this, there is no one available to communicate with patients on the phone. When you call the Women’s Health number, there is not a physical person to speak with. Everything is automated and takes you to these different departments, but NO ONE actually answers the phone. You just remain on hold. I have no idea how I’m even suppose to contact my doctor or her nurse if I have a question or concern.

Ultimately, I am disappointed because I sincerely expected more from an institution that is so highly spoken of across the state.
