This golden one is by far the slowest and had the most unmotivated workers I’ve ever seen!! Like really, it took an hour to get through a line of 6 people. This was ridiculous! And the employees continued to walk to the back office pretending to be on break but really just didn’t wanna do their job! I’m reporting the times to corporate, the bank is not meant to take thing long to get some cash.

This bank keeps putting holds on my deposits over 200 I explained that I live paycheck to paycheck and I had been told that because of how long I had been with the bank I would not have any holds and I would be able to deposit up to like 2400 at a time. I was lied to. They didn't care and refused to lift the hold even tho 2 week prior I had no issue getting the hold lifted. Idk what's going on but I'm putting my money elsewhere

Worst customer service I’ve ever had in a bank. The teller I had and manager are rude, they had no empathy and didn’t even try to help. I would not recommend this bank or this branch! I never heard of a bank not being able to cash a check you bank with, it has to be deposited and the holds are longer then what they say. They do not care if you have bills to pay and it’s the holiday reason so they had no empathy for the need for a lil extra money to get Christmas shopping done. I bank with eecu and Wells Fargo and never had this issue their customer service is the best and they care about their customers. My husband’s is the one who open an account here which he will be closing and taking his money else where I bank. I suggest hiring people who know how to have customers service considering they would have to deal with people on a daily if they can’t handle that then maybe they should find a different line of work that doesn’t make them look miserable, especially if your a manager. Also they basically told us there’s no point of going inside that everything we can do could be done at the atm.

I am not sure how to feel about this credit union. I am preapproved for an auto loan but 2 places in town so far have refused to do business with Golden 1. They keep telling me to get approved with EECU or other places because they will not do business with Golden 1 as they make process difficult. Even when the car dealerships are listed as a preferred dealership in the Golden 1 website, when I go to the dealership they tell me they will not do business with me because they will not be working with Golden 1. When I first got approved for the loan, the customer service did confused me when they said that smaller dealerships will have to take the car title into their branch in order to move forward..etc I thought this was a weird process... sure enough the dealerships do not seem to be willing to deal with Golden 1. Meanwhile I am in urgent need of a car.

Slow!!! The wait is always rediculous there is never more then three tellers everytime i go in. Theres 6 windows that they could put to use but they never do. Once u get to the window 45 min later their friendly but the wait is crazy. They need to either hire more people or call more people in. Whatever their problem is they need to do something about it. Any other bank has enough tellers. Golden one tellers never even say sorry about the wait or apologize for the lack of staff!!! Good banking experience if i never had to go in.

Why Bother...Been with G1 for over 2 years, with Direct Deposits from my Employer and a long work history. Have 3 to 4k in my account and decent credit. They denied me for a 10k car loan on a car that is still worth 14 to 15k. Banks like this that just takes advantage of your money but when you like or want its help...Denied, Why Bother.

Everyone was very nice. I expected a long wait since I went in on a Friday to open a new account, It didn’t take long at all. Marcos helped me. He was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

I have been trying to get a hold of someone regarding why my 1st paycheck is being held. I was told it would be released the 9th of January and now they say it's being held til the 25th. I would like my money to pay bills cause that's why I work. Not for a bank to dictate when I'll be able to use my money.
