Security services are wonderful! Their help and guidance with the purchase of our 2023 Toyota Tacoma could not have gone better. Rachel Costley at the Barnes branch in Colorado Springs was very very professional, took care of our needs, stayed late to help us, put things together and got us in and out in half an hour time when it was ready to close our deal. Rachel and the Barnes branch are part of our family now! We are so proud and happy to have met Rachel the day we opened our account and to receive the kind of service that her and the others who work at the Barnes branch provide for us. Unfortunately, I had some fraudulent activity taking place with my savings account. The representative who assisted me was very helpful, informative and patient. I appreciate the time he took to thoroughly explain what steps would need to be taken to secure my money. I apologize for not remembering his name, but I hope he gets recognized for a job well done and giving me peace of mind.

I applied for a mortgage with SSFCU via their website. My experience was unlike all the negative reviews I had read. In fact, if it weren't for the couple good reviews concerning Jacob, my loan officer, I may have looked at another places. I have to say that my personal experience was amazing. I do not regret at all my decision to stay with SSFCU. I just closed and everything went quickly and smoothly. Jacob always responded in a timely manner with all my questions(and I had plenty). Not to mention SSFCU has the best rates in town and no closing costs.

I logged in online like I do everyday but saw something unusual in my checking account. There were 2 deposits totaling $.35 and then a withdrawal of the same amount. I called and explained the situation and was put in touch with someone that could help me more. While she was checking things out and I was on hold I checked my debit card information and found the same thing. Once I showed her the second problem my accounts were frozen. While we were talking she saw that someone attempted to withdrawal $1700.00 from my debit card account. Since it was frozen it didn't go through! I now have a new account with new cards for everything. Thanks to the fast and effective work my money is still safe. I'm glad I decided to check my accounts when I did and then got a great team to deal with the problem. I can now sleep well tonight knowing my money is safe again. I'm so happy that back in 1969 I decided to join Security Service when I returned from overseas.

Do not use for lending. Can’t set up auto pay without an act of congress. Only way to make a payment is by check or walking into a branch, like 1975. 4 months in a row I’ve had major issues. Sent a check in for payment and they deposited into my savings account, then mailed me a late payment notice and charged me a late fee. What an intelligent bunch… Then after 45 minutes on the phone with multiple people, including Valencia from the SA corporate office, they wouldn’t waive the late fee. Also continued to tell me how they can’t call or email me. My only option was to continue to sit on hold. Well I have kids and they needed attention. What a wonderful customer friendly bank.

Just opened an account online. Super simple and easy. Got to get use to the mobile banking app. It’s good. Just can’t access my Checking benefits for the power protected checking and savings account. I got an email saying it was activated it’s not showing up in my app. So a few things to figure out but other than that everything has been a breeze to set up. Connected all my external bank accounts with no problems. One thing I do miss that my other bank had was Zelle. I use Zelle every week and to not have it in my bank app is a headache but it’s okay I just go to the Zelle app. Anyways I would definitely recommend this place.

Omar was knowledgeable about the requirements of the money market account I was inquiring on, and he made the account opening process quick and easy! I was actually driving between errands while he asked me the necessary questions to get the account set up via phone! Super fast, simple and great customer service.
